Challenge

Under the project, the main task of our team was to establish a brand with an impressive visual identity, brand history, and communication platform that would highlight the competitive edges of the bar-restaurant: live music availability, high-end service, and an exclusive range of drinks.

Brand Identity

Starting with in-depth research and studies, we developed a brand platform based on a comprehensive brand story and consecutive visual identity 

The brand story evolves around the story of Benedict  -  an affluent American businessman. Benedict was a successful businessman who highly appreciated the arts. He loved discovering new musical talents and supporting them to reach heights.

They say, Benedict often visited music clubs and concert halls. He collaborated with a number of recording studios as an anonymous patron. Enforcing his influence and wealth, he supported talented young people to advance. Over time, one of the beneficiaries becomes his close friend. Benedict bequeaths the young man a newly built music bar-restaurant. The musician, showing great respect and devotion to his patron and closest friend, names the bar restaurant in his honor.

Visual  identity

When creating the visual identity of the brand, we were inspired by the mystical image of Benedict. Shadows over musical elements edge the unknown side of the brand character.

Shadows are used as an integral part of the brand's visual identity to represent the secrets and mysteries of Benedict's life. 

The brand logo represents Benedict's signature. While a single signature from Benedict could become the key to success for a  talented musician, visiting Benedict's bar is the warranty of unforgettable experiences. The chosen simple yet straightforward type font conveys the sophisticated and elegant mood of Benedict.
